- I tried this some weeks ago with OS/2. It is not possible for some reasons:

- The hardware protocoll is different: Amiga is 8bit-parallel with 2 hand-
- shake lines (NAK and another one). The parallel network driver for OS/2
- does support 8bit-parallel, too, if the port is bi-directional (which is
- rarely the case with PCs), but even then it uses 4 handshake lines. Two
- of them do not exist on the Amiga (actually, they are merged with other
- signals). Perhaps a special PLIP driver for the Amiga could handle this,
- but it does not exist.

- Another reason why I`ve given up on this is the fact that the PLIP driver
- for the PC consumes about 50% CPU-Time on my P90 even if it`s idle ! This
- is, of course, not acceptable.
